Democratic schools/classrooms are challenging due to the preexisting mindsets of teachers, students and parents. It definitely has value, but making it sustainable is critical and difficult. It is worth a try - even if you only involve a few of the concepts. You continue to gain experience with Picktochart, but the limit on using any web 2.0 tool was three times (for points anyway!) and you have exceeded that number. I hope you can find ways to incorporate the tool in your current and future classroom.
